Chip and scratch inspections of bushings

Scratches and chips on metal surfaces are detected with 2D laser displacement sensors. The judgment is performed on the basis of the surface shape, so this method is also well-suited to the inspection of defects in which the gray-scale difference is small. It was difficult to perform these inspections with image processing.
