Types of Laser Glass Engraving

There are two types of lasers used for glass laser engraving: CO2 lasers and UV lasers. Each has high absorption levels and specialised processes for marking.

UV Laser Engraving

UV laser marking works by converting a 1064 nm laser into a 355 nm laser. The 1064 nm laser passes through two crystals and minimises the wavelength into a 355 nm laser for minimal heat stress and high absorption. CO2 Laser Engraving
